Catalytic Converter Purchasing Requirements
Effective October 6, 2026, Ohio requirements for purchasing catalytic converters have changed.
Before Innovative Recycling can purchase your catalytic converter, you must provide proof that you own the vehicle the converter came from.
Acceptable Proof of Ownership
- Vehicle title or registration
- Repair bill, invoice, or receipt showing that the catalytic converter was removed and replaced. The documentation must include the vehicle's year, make, model, and VIN.
We cannot purchase a catalytic converter without the required documentation.
